Last year, the British luxury brand Rolls-Royce delivered 5,586 new cars, 49 percent more than in the previous year and a record in the company’s 117-year history. Business was particularly successful in China, Asia-Pacific and America. The Ghost and Cullinan models were particularly popular. There is no end to this success in sight in the current year, the order books are already full until the third quarter.
Against this background, some interested parties evidently switch to used vehicles, because the manufacturer’s “Provenance” program is also recording record demand. The Goodwood plant works in two shifts close to capacity. In the summer, 37 trainees are to start at once.
Despite all tradition: Rolls-Royce cannot completely escape the zeitgeist. The first all-electric model called Specter is currently going through the demanding test program, and the market launch is scheduled for the end of 2023.
