The mid-season update for Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone Pacific is here soon. As many Internet users had predicted a few weeks ago, Activision will sign its first collaboration with a work renowned around the world. This is the manga and the animeAttack on titans (SNK), which has been growing in popularity for many months. In one blog post, the studio formalizes this unexpected crossover and provides more details.
Cosmetic and playable content
This collaboration will kick off the first content update of 2022 as it should. First and foremost, and as with any crossover, players will be entitled to a skin. That of operator Daniel Yatsu, who will wear the uniform of the Exploration Battalions. This is the military section responsible for investigating the Titans outside the city walls in SNK.
Players will also be able to acquire the Tracker Pack: Attack on Titan – Levi Edition, which will give them access to a dozen objects related to the anime, but which can be used by any fighter, whether fan or not. Activision explains that the “Titan Piercer” weapon will be present, as well as the legendary “Historia” submachine gun and the “Ymir’s Curse” assault rifle. In terms of weapons, there is something for all styles.
Besides, you will be able to enjoy the “Steel Slash” performance, but also the “Vertical Maneuver” best action intro and the “Ultra Hard Steel” best player achievement, among other rewards. Daniel Yatsu’s skin will also be included in the pack. Activision has not yet specified at what price it would be available but we are already expecting a substantial amount of CP.
The update is already available for download to all players in Europe at Vanguard and Warzone, although the content will arrive from January 13 at 6 a.m. French time. Mid-season brings some interesting new features, including a new operator (Isabella Rosario Dulnuan Reyes), a new weapon (Welgun submachine gun), new Zombies content. However, collaborative content with SNK won’t be available until a week later, officially starting January 20.
