Xiaomi will present a new smartphone this week and we already know everything about it. The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G is the most powerful smartphone in the Redmi Note 11 range.
The Redmi Note family occupies a major place at Xiaomi and it is about to welcome a new representative. At the end of January, the Chinese brand announces the launch in Europe Redmi Note 11, Note 11S and Note 11 Pro (5G). Four smartphones, one of which Redmi Note 11 very attractive and affordable. However, a model is missing when this series is made official: the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G.
The smartphone has been available in China for a few months and everything suggests that it will soon land in Europe. On social networks, Xiaomi announces an event on Tuesday March 29 at 2 p.m. for the launch of the “most powerful Redmi Note 11”. Xiaomi does not say more about its announcement, but there is little doubt about the identity of this smartphone.

A future bestseller?
Thanks to its presentation, we already know almost everything about the Redmi Note 11 Pro +. Indeed, its “European” technical sheet should not present major differences with the versions already available. The only question is whether the device will rather be inspired by the Chinese or Indian variant. In any case, this smartphone will be equipped with a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel displaying a Full HD + definition (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G wants to establish its spearhead status for the brand. Two options currently hold the rope: like the “Chinese” version, it could carry a MediaTek Dimensity 920 chip and a 4,500 mAh battery compatible with 120 W fast charging; or treat yourself to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 and 67 W fast charging for its 5,000 mAh battery. We will have to wait until March 29 to find out precisely what Xiaomi has in store for us.
A 120W load?
The presence of 120W charging would be a first for the Redmi series and would make the device stand out. Turning to the “Indian” version under Snapdragon, we would not really see a difference with the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G already presented.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G will, as its name suggests, be compatible with 5G bands. It could be available in three variants: 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, 8/128 GB and 8/256 GB. Classic formulas for Xiaomi which will bet on Android 12 and the MIUI 13 overlay.
Regarding the photo part, it will be similar to that of the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. A main sensor of 108 megapixels (wide-angle, f / 1.9) will accompany an ultra wide-angle of 8 megapixels and a macro module of 2 megapixels. At the front, a 16-megapixel selfie camera will take place in the punched-out screen.
For the rest, we expect to find a smartphone compatible with wifi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC. It should also retain a 3.5mm jack while a USB-C port will be present. Finally, the fingerprint sensor will be placed on the side, while the stereo speakers would be Dolby Atmos compatible.
What will be the price in euros of the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G?
While waiting for the officialization of the smartphone, the leaker SnoopyTech announces that the Redmi Note 11 Pro + 5G will start at 449 euros. The 256 euro version would be displayed at 499 euros, but the amount of onboard RAM is not specified.
