Starting today at Aldi: ZigBee lamps with solar technology for your garden

Exciting offers have been hidden in the upcoming Aldi brochure, both for the markets in the north and south of the nation. Müller-Licht Tint will be selling outdoor products with ZigBee technology at Aldi from May 12. The special feature: Some of them are equipped with solar technology and do not necessarily require a permanent power supply.

Let’s first come to the products themselves, here is a small overview of the five offers that you will receive from Aldi-Nord and Aldi-Süd from May 12th:

  • Tint Outdoor Spot Flores XL for 69.99 euros
  • Tint outdoor light ball Pendula Solar for 49.99 euros
  • Tint outdoor light ball Calluna Solar 25cm for 49.99 euros
  • Tint outdoor light ball Calluna Solar 35cm for 69.99 euros
  • Tint outdoor light ball Calluna Solar 45cm for 99.99 euros

Apart from the Flores outdoor spot, which offers a brightness of up to 1,000 lumens, all products are equipped with solar technology. The manufacturer writes:

“Thanks to the integrated solar module and battery, the Pendula Solar LED light ball works without a cable and can therefore be placed anywhere in the garden without having to be near a socket. Optionally, the lamp can also be charged via USB-C cable.”

However, the whole thing has a catch: The maximum brightness is really very low. All solar lamps have a maximum brightness of just 20 lumens. Of course, that won’t be enough to illuminate anything. We can imagine these models much more as decorative objects, which can then represent a color of your choice, depending on your wishes.
