When ultra-luxury is not enough, comes the Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II with Platinum finish, bamboo upholstery and 3D ceramic

Waiting for Rolls-Royce to take off its first 100% electric model Under the name Spectre, the firm delights us with a new version of one of its flagships: the Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II.
Adaptations to the eighth-generation Phantom include ‘slight’ visual and cosmetic enhancements, the brand explains, in line with requests and feedback from conservative Rolls-Royce customers.
Lighted grill, bamboo and lots of connectivity
The eighth generation of Phantom was presented in 2017 and since then the brand’s clientele has not demanded significant changes. That is why Rolls-Royce has wanted to maintain the essence in this new version.
In the exterior design we find a new polished horizontal line between the daytime running lights on the so-called Pantheon Grille, which now sports geometric touches to highlight the Spirit of Ecstasy.
The grille is now illuminated, a feature that debuted and became popular on Ghost. The headlights are adorned with intricate laser-cut star bezel lights.
Behind the carefully revised grille, the Phantom’s heart remains the same. The traditional 6.75-litre V12 engine is retained, producing 571bhp which is transferred to the road via an eight-speed gearbox.
The Phantom’s side profile retains the characteristic Rolls-Royce short front and long rear overhang, long wheelbase and wide C-pillar.
The side profile is further enhanced by a set of new wheels. A 3D milled stainless steel wheel with triangular facets is available for commissioning with a fully or partially polished finish.
Alternatively, the Phantom may be adorned with a disc wheel (it has no spokes or openings for air to pass through) in honor of 1920 Rolls-Royces, such as the Silver Ghost. This wheel is made of both polished stainless steel and black lacquer.
For its part, the interior of the Phantom remains almost unchanged: the steering wheel has been made a little thicker, providing a more connected and immediate point of contact for the owner-driver.
And of course, Rolls-Royce starry skies.
In addition, the luxury firm has created the Platinum Phantom, which bears the name of the white finish of the coveted metal and whose interior is finished in silk and painted by hand.
It also highlights the bamboo fabric and a frame for the characteristic dashboard clock made of 3D printed ceramic.
“The eighth-generation Phantom has been deliberately designed to offer a blank canvas for Bespoke personalization, capable of becoming whatever the customer wants it to be, and a true reflection of their individual style and character,” explains the brand.
