Asus and Realme mobiles will be the first Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 phones

On the gaming side, the new Snapdragon chip will make its debut in the Asus ROG Phone 6 and among the top phones in the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition.

On Friday, it unveiled Qualcomm’s latest mobile peak, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, a redesigned Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, now on the TSMC production line, with higher performance and better energy efficiency. The presentation also said that a total of sixteen companies, including Asus (in the ROG product line), Xiaomi and with it Black Shark, Honor, Lenovo, iQOO, Motorola, Nubia, Oppo and with it OnePlus , Realme, ZTE and Vivo also plan to use the new SoC.

Asus has since made it clear the arrival of ROG Phone 6, in which it will debut in the mobile gaming world with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, however, the exact date is unknown, only the company has announced it soon. The situation is similar for the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition, with the CEO of Realme announcing that a phone built around the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 will be made and will be unveiled in China. However, the tweet published by Sky Li is not about whether this year’s GT 2 Master Explorer Edition, like last year’s version around the Snapdragon 870, will be an exclusive device for the domestic market or will be launched internationally.
