Capcom unveils the sequel to one of its franchises, which had not been heard from for a few years.
This year, Capcom is celebrating 10 years of one of its most beloved franchises, we named Dragon’s Dogma. Released in 2012, the RPG has earned a place in the hearts of fans thanks to its ingenious combat system and its special atmosphere. But since then, the title has only been entitled to ports, on consoles and PC, but never a second opus had been announced… until now.
During the stream devoted to the anniversary of his franchise, Hideaki Itsuno, the director of the game, formalized Dragon’s Dogma II with an appropriate logo, but no more information than that about it. We have no image, no release date, or even the name of the platforms on which the game will be released. We suspect that at this stage, Dragon’s Dogma II is in early development, hence the lack of news. We should have more in the next few months or even years.
Dragon’s Dogma II will begin the cycle anew.
Join director Hideaki Itsuno as he reflects on how the world of Gransys came to be and shares the announcement of the upcoming sequel, in development using RE Engine:
