Last October 2021 we have previewed the new Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter 3, third generation of one of the best-selling electric scooters in the world. Well the electric scooter now has a new brother: here it is Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro just presented in Paris.
To date it is Xiaomi’s most powerful electric scooter, with one peak power of 700 W (350 W nominal) and a maximum speed limited to 25 km / h – although in Italy the the limit set for driving on the road is now 20 km / h (the new rules of electric scooters of November 2021). Thanks to the capacious 12,400 mAh battery it can offer up to 45 km of autonomy, moreover, thanks to its power it is able to climb slopes up to 20%. The body is made of aerospace-grade aluminum, an element that makes the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro light, robust and corrosion resistant.
Coming to the tires we then find a great novelty: it is 10 “self-sealing tubeless tiresdesigned to withstand punctures thanks to the Xiaomi DuraGel. The Chinese manufacturer finally abandons the traditional inner tubes, a detail that alone could be worth the purchase of this new kick scooter. Xiaomi has also slightly enlarged the size, so as to improve on-board comfort and hold up a heavier weight. In addition, the new magnetic charging port (with protection) allows convenient and safe charging.
Speaking of dimensions: we have a length of 1,198 mm, a width of 484 mm and a height of 1,240 mm, which becomes 514 mm when the scooter is closed. The rear brake is double padexactly like on Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter 3, on the front we have a braking system with eABS which increases safety.
