Germany will vote no to the ban on gasoline and diesel cars in 2035, or at least that is what the Minister of Economy assures

A few days ago, the European Parliament approved the ban on selling new cars that emit CO₂ throughout the EU from 2035. The vote of the parliament is not binding, since it is the member states that have the final decision through the vote of their ministers. And apparently, Germany will vote in the negative.

The rejection was announced by the German Economy Minister Christian Lindner. He explained on Tuesday at Industry Day in Berlin that there will be regions of the world where electric mobility cannot be introduced for decades to come.
